We have created a tool that automates pipeline fatigue assessments. We do this by providing a cloud based platform for capturing the required data sets and indexing them against spacial locations and time. By having standard templates we link the data sets which allows us to give the data more context this is achieved by combining the data with engineering calculations. Finally our tool interfaces with standard FEA (finite element analysis) packages allowing for creation of FEA models. The tool also reads FEA model outputs compares the results against real world data and adjusts inputs to ensure the virtual model and and reality match. Our system will produce produce easy to read reports fro management and detailed reports for technical teams. All data and results will be stored and accessible to our clients. Results will be rapid repeatable and accurate. These results will be used year on year.

This is just phase 1 of a larger plan which will be to create a digital twin for susbea pipelines and automate the process of pipeline design. We will achieve this by building on the fatigue module with the other aspects of pipeline design (Buckling , Corrosion etc). By automating the process of design multiple iterations can be run in a short period allowing for a rapid efficient design phase of a pipeline design project. Additionally any changes in the design requirements can be updated in the system and calculations performed rapidly.

As more information is uploaded to the system we plan to use this data to allow for further analysis of subsea pipeline behavior. Currently offshore pipeline data is not stored efficiently and linked in away that allows for easy interpretation by a machine by standardizing input formats for each data set and linking with engineering calculations we can do amazing things. We will allow for data driven asset integrity programs.

The data sets we will use include Offshore wave and Current data, Pipeline physical properties, Soil properties, Pipe material properties, Pipeline weld records, pipe operating details, pipe manufacturing records.
