Entrepreneurship Office of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (NOVA entrepreneurship) has as main objective the creation and development of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem within the University, through the involvement of various entities.

- Starters Academy powered by NOS - Is an innovative joint initiative of NOS and NOVA University of Lisbon aimed at creating an academy of entrepreneurship aimed at all students of this University, scattered in different schools and campuses. This academy allows NOVA students to access a range of training courses and programs in order to supplement their academic training, enabling them to become more aware, capable and successful entrepreneurs. The fundamental objective is to provide University students with innovative ideas and projects the opportunity to work together in a multidisciplinary environment, entrepreneurial experiences in a logic of full market orientation. It includes specific training in subjects related to entrepreneurship, a strongly applied perspective, either by class or by seminars or by direct collaboration with startups.
- NOVA Idea Competition powered by BPI - The last edition had 25 teams, 77 students and six faculties. They were handed over € 15,000 in prizes and the contest had the sponsorship of BPI Bank. The competition begins with the submission of an application. In the second stage of the competition each team delivers an Executive Summary Extended consisting of Executive Summary, Product / service / technology, and identification of the target market analysis and Marketing Strategy.
The third phase is the creation of business plan to be presented in a final pitch to teachers, entrepreneurs and investors.

- The follow-up work is one of the main functions of this office that operates from contacts in various areas, partnerships with companies or even request mentors.
Whether in supporting new business ideas, both in mentorship startups or professional guidance to the entrepreneurial level NOVA projects from various faculties have been asking for different types of support.
