ETConcept 3D

ETConcept is a consulting and device prototyping Company that has a constant need to develop prototypes of electronic devices, which made us create a 3D Printer prototype to gain greater leverage and reduce costs on all our projects. With the increase of our prototyping needs, we evaluated the acquisition of the necessary digital manufacturing tools, such as Laser cutter and engraver, 3D Printer and milling machine and we decided to develop a new machine that integrates all this functions to offer greater possibilities with our previous knowledge.
The Company exists for 4 years, working mostly with the integration of systems in the Information, Electronics, Communication and Technology areas with already some track record regarding product development and prototyping.
The ETConcept 3D team and the prototype Hydra 3D MFF project are born independently in a new managerial development process inside the main enterprise to fully develop this business.
In this moment, one of the areas that is been highlighted regarding innovation is advanced manufacturing and the possibility to build your own idea in a basement or a garage with means that would make Steve Jobs or Bill Gates be in their wildest dreams 30 years ago. There is a micro-industrialization revolution available at our fingertips and who’s able to pinpoint trends and offer a multi-function fabricator that allows this world of possibilities to become a reality.
Pedro Freire is responsible for all the business development of the project, Pedro Fazenda (software and device integration) and Tiago Oliveira (hardware and device development) will support and offer an interdisciplinary approach and a combined leadership in this process and we will evolve accordingly with the needs of the project and also with the Team needs.
