Eventida was built to make event promotions easier to share among different cultural and multilingual groups across the nation. Since then, our platform has evolved, both organically and developmentally, into a peer to peer event listing site that allows event hosts and service providers to create an experience that is accessible and inclusive.

Those who have a disability, food allergy, or signs/speaks a different language often face barriers at events, which can be solved using Eventida. With landmark legislation, diversity and equality mandates transforming the event landscape, it is more important now than ever to create tools to make this easier.

The problem with is threefold: time - arranging accommodations and promoting to underserved audiences requires extra time and focus than people are willing to spare; money - the smaller the event the tighter the budget, leaving little or no room to provide access; and lack of resources for event hosts who don't know what to do.

The problem with is threefold: time - arranging accommodations and promoting to underserved audiences requires extra time and focus than people are willing to spare; money - the smaller the event the tighter the budget, leaving little or no room to provide access; and lack of resources for event hosts who don't know what to do.

Our solution solves the problem by:

1. Making requesting and arranging access easy where everyone can just do it with a few clicks.
2. Raising awareness and advocating for meeting the needs of these underserved audiences.
3. Connecting everybody through an online marketplace, bringing resources to the event host and promoter.

By helping schools, governments, NGOs and nonprofits meet the access needs of underserved markets at events, Eventida is well positioned to capture .5% of a $600 billion dollar event management software industry and generate $4 million in software fees.

Eventida also works with partners to perform special projects that help achieve the mission of making more events accessible and inclusive, including but not limited to: research projects; awareness campaigns; software development and API integrations, hosting marketing & recruiting events; and more. Special projects are funded by grants and partners.

As of June 2018, this unique platform receives more than 100 event postings and an average of 3.5 new user registrations every day. To grow, Eventida needs a full-time team plus funding to make some essential improvements and start marketing premium features.

Jim Atwater CEO at InReturn Strategies

The Eventida team is playing a critical role in ensuring that events reach the broadest possible audiences and are inclusive in a simple and efficient way that the event organizers care about. It's a double bottom line win. Do we really need millions of people sitting at home instead of being a positive participant in society? Eventida is opening new worlds to people otherwise segregated. This team is dynamic with big ideas that are going to change the world.

Elise is my mentee in the BEACON + Werkin mentorship program and I have been very impressed with her leadership of Eventida and the innovative solution she and Lee have created to address widespread challenges in providing accessible events. Participation in F6S would be incredibly helpful and they would use the resources provided to accelerate their growth effectively and thoughtfully.

I have been associated with Eventida almost since its inception. the founders, Elise and Lee, are two of the hardest working individuals I have ever encountered. I have had many conversations with the two of them and I am a strong supporter of Eventida.

I come from a business ownership background, owned a company for 21 years (www.macf.com) in the software and management consulting business. I formed an ESOP for my employees upon my retirement almost 10 years ago. That business is still thriving, partially due to the employees owning the company, every employee is a stockholder, as a motivating factor.

Elise and Lee are very entrepreneurial, forward thinking, ethical, and trustworthy individuals. I look forward to their continued and future success.

It has been a pleasure to work with with Elise and Lee Whitworth since September 2016 on various projects with Eventida. Their unique solution solves a simple problem that I have not found on other similar sites.

As a result of these projects, we were able to improve various features allowing Elise and Lee to upgrade Eventida's platform on multiple fronts. I look forward to continuing these projects, especially the results as I know their results will be a game-changer in the events industry.

After all, I am always asking the question wherever I go, where are all the deaf and hard of hearing people? Where are all the sign language events at? And Eventida made it that easy for me to find them.

Now expand that concept to people with various human conditions from wheelchair access to allergies to language translation, and you can visualize how accessible events can become more inclusive for everyone.
