The problem with fan engagement is all products solve for short-term solutions that relate to the match day experience. However, as fans of the Gunners, every match that you watch is linked. Yet there is no platform that connects these moments effectively to enable fans to record a record of their experiences with the team. FanNav enables fans to identify:
- How many games have YOU attended over the years?
- How many wins, losses, draws did the team have when YOU have watched them?
- How many times have YOU seen your favorite players (i.e. Thierry Henry) and how many goals has he scored? How does this compare to other strikers?
- Which friend have YOU watched the most matches with and who do YOU have the best record with?
- How many games have YOU attended at Highbury, at the Emirates, away stadiums, or watched on TV/internet?

Taylor has found a sweet spot in the consumer entertainment and media space that aligns today's need to capture memories, share content digitally, and provide a digital avenue for supporting your favorite team or band.

I've talked with Taylor in-depth about his early product, have seen him climb the learning curve and find his groove with product development of Fan Nav. He brings a wealth of experience from his days in private equity and business development and it reflects through Fan Nav's advisory board and potential partners. Taylor would be a great fit for an accelerator program that allows him to leverage his skill set but also provides guidance on the customer acquisition element, which will be his next hurdle.

Regardless of the outcome, I would bet on Taylor to make it happen in whatever form necessary. I wish him the best of luck.

Part social network, part Timehop, part foursquare and much more besides, FanNav is a really cool idea that has huge potential when it comes to engaging with sports, music, gaming and entertainment fans. I met Taylor in Abu Dhabi a few months ago and was really impressed by his passion and vision for this product as well as his incredible contacts list in the relevant industries. I look forward to using FanNav to track the occasionally difficult and occasionally fun times surrounding Liverpool, the Irish Rugby team, Tool and Pearl Jam over the next few years!
