About this fellowship: FWF is designed for Female Founders in New England (USA) looking to understand funding & raise for their startups. Based in & around Boston, this 6 month fellowship helps support 10-12 women per cohort who are building early stage startups and looking to raise a funding round.

The fellowship gives access to 40+ events over 6 months including workshops, mentoring sessions, bootcamps and other events with the cohort and wider community. One of the main benefits will be giving these women access to the education needed to make the right decisions for their businesses and access to key investors and mentors to support them.
Please note: We use an inclusive definition of “woman” to represent all and welcome trans women and any others who identify as a woman in any way that is significant to them.

Fellowship Application Requirements:
- You must be a female founder or CEO of the company.
- You must be able to attend at least 1-2 events a month in BOSTON and Greater Boston on a regular basis. Fellowships are revoked if fellows do not attend programming to be re-awarded to another founder.
- You must be a incorporated in the USA as for-profit scalable company eligible for institutional investment (not suitable for 501c3s, brick & mortar stores or consulting businesses).
- You must be looking to raise a friends & family / seed round.
- Applications MUST be done through your Startup Business page on F6S (not your personal page).

The fellowships will be awarded to the most promising businesses run by women with the utmost potential to become successful entrepreneurs who can most benefit from what we offer. NOTE: preference given to startups who've NOT gone through accelerators (n/a to student accelerators) & NOT immersed in the Angel/VC community - but this shouldn't be a barrier to you applying!
What fellows receive:
