fHACKtory - Fall 2013 - Lyon

Sep 28 '13 10:00am - Sep 29 '13 10:00pm @ 47 Rue Francis de Pressensé, Villeurbanne
100% HACK - 0% BULLSHIT
Shouldn't hackathon be 100% about "hack" (and fun!)? So stop wasting time working on crazy power points and pitches, and join us at the fhacktory!

=> Build. Deliver. Win.

The Manifest:

YOU SHALL show off the best of your technical skills
YOU SHALL deliver a usable alpha version of your hack in 36h
YOU SHALL build and demo something great, that other teams will respect you for
PLEASE DON’T pitch a startup concept, showing boring mockups and fancy power points.

And DON’T WORRY, we will provide everything for you to have fun during the week-end!

The problem we want to solve: there are more and more european hackathons during which participants waste too much time working on crazy business metrics/process and their pitch, instead on focusing on their hack.

Our vision for fHACKtory: the participants should focus on one thing, and one thing only, their hack! Teams will be judged on: (i) 60%: Continuous evaluation throughout the week-end by the fHACKtory "advocates" (creativity, design thinking, risk raking, boldness...); (ii) 30%: Beta test; and (iii) 10%: Demo, evaluated by the other participants.
Our ambition: this first event will be limited to 60-70 participants as we want to test the concept, but our long term goal is to turn fHACKtory into the biggest european franchise by 2018.
