‘SEEING THE PERSON BEHIND DEMENTIA’
How can products and services be better geared to the wishes of people living withdementia and their carers, enabling them to live independently and comfortably at home for longer?

The FIT project invites developers, entrepreneurs, designers,researchers, lecturers and students and all other interested parties to take part in the hackathon ‘Seeing the Person Behind Dementia’, to be held on Friday 2 December 2016 in Amsterdam. Apr eparatory inspiration and information afternoon will be held on Thursday 10 November.

INFORMATION AND INSPIRATION on 10 November 2016
16:00 to 19:00 hours, in the Dr. Sarphatihuis Amsterdam

Enthusiastic speakers with innovative approaches to matching supply and demand will share their experiences and give inspiration! We will also inform you about the FIT research project, which focuses on matching the needs and wishes of people with dementia to the large range of resources and services available. The aim of this project is to help people with dementia live at home for longer. We will present the initial research results in a few short presentations.

HACKATHON on 2 December 2016, Amsterdam
The focus of the hackathon will be on building an innovative fit between supply and demand. Teams will work on a solution that really means something to people living with dementia in their everyday lives. We are sure the sparks will fly! During the day, you will have the opportunity to
consult with experts from the creative, care, science, social innovation and business sectors.

Curiosity and the will to explore new opportunities will be the starting point for the hackathon.
