Dear all,
Some updates with respect to the FI-ADOPT 1st open call.

1) First of all, we would like to thank you for submitting your ideas to FI-ADOPT. We have received 112 good proposals, which are already under evaluation. As most of them are requesting close to the maximum funding, it seems that only 11-13 proposals will go through (so approximately 1 out of 10).

Dear all,
Some updates with respect to the FI-ADOPT 1st open call.

1) First of all, we would like to thank you for submitting your ideas to FI-ADOPT. We have received 112 good proposals, which are already under evaluation. As most of them are requesting close to the maximum funding, it seems that only 11-13 proposals will go through (so approximately 1 out of 10).

2) With respect to the VAT issue. Though it is clear in the proposal's template that this is a mandatory field, the consortium has decided to be open even to SMEs, start-ups and individuals that don't have a VAT due to their national law. However, be aware that the applicants that will be short listed need to provide a valid VAT (a VAT that appears at the EC VIES taxation system, ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/) during negotiations phase. Failure to provide this on time, will automatically result in application's rejection and replacement by the next one in the short list.

Last but not least, be patient. We do our best to announce the results approximately mid December.

Can you clarify the VAT aspect please. Are you saying that 'completing' the VAT field is mandatory, or are you saying being VAT 'registered' is mandatory? You message above seems to say it is the former but contact with EM2 suggest it is the latter.

Hi, I have sent an email regarding the VAT aspect one week ago, and I did not receive any clarification yet. Our company was created in Romania, in Romania there are two registrations for VAT: one for national VAT that is not mandatory (unless you have a turnover higher than 100.000 euros), one for international VAT mandatory for companies that work with foreign companies and want to invoice them. We are applying for the international VAT, the procedure is long at it might take from 3 weeks to 1 month. I wanted to know if international VAT was enough, and when exactly should we be able to provide it.
