Flex Air is an award-winning flight school. We focus on making our training affordable and open to everyone. We launched Via Careers, the only program in aviation that combines flight training, career placement services, and financing for aspiring airline pilots. Via Careers is supported by a network of hiring airline partners. 100% of our graduates get high-paying airline jobs.

The airline pilot population is getting too old to keep flying. A recovering airline industry is facing a severe pilot shortages driven by Baby Boomer retirements. Hiring shortfalls are expected to exceed 20,000 pilots, while new pilot applications have been down as much as 80% at some airlines before Covid-19. Airlines keep raising pay, and pilots might earn as much as $7m over their career, but none of this money is available to a student just starting out. Where are the new pilots? Without financial assistance, they'll never have a chance to start. We're the only flight school focused on making training affordable.

By 2025, we’ll be a leader in all-electric aviation, operating the eFlyer line of all-electric, quiet, zero-emissions trainer aircraft. We’ll offer scholarships, loans and income share agreements to 100% of our students without regard to credit ratings or co-signer availability. We'll place over 400 minority pilots into high-pay airline pilot jobs, making the aviation industry a younger, more diverse, innovative community.
