was wondering why there was so few shares (last cohort F6S pages had about 200 shares btw FB and Tweet) this time around. What exactly happened?

Three things 1) The F6S-generated wording was incomplete and had no call to action (i.e.: nothing along the lines of "Please Like or Share this page") so it wasn't clear what we were supposed to be asking our network to do 2) There was room for an icon or image but there was no image (which is awkward) 3) There was no way to modify the wording on the post to fix the lack of call to action. So... I posted it to my wall to see what the outcome would be in case it would magically get fixed once on Facebook but instead even less information fed through on my wall. So I deleted it as it would have generated questions/confusion. I did not take screenshots of the process unfortunately, so this is just from memory.

Yes, I also had a lot of confusion from people about what they were supposed to do, and I had to guide a few people step by step. Also, it would be great if recommendations could come from other avenues other than facebook and linkedin. More than one of my professors had difficulty with this. Is there another avenue for sharing recommendations?
