More than 1.3 billion tons of food are lost or going to waste every year, with more than 75% of the waste happening before the food even reaches the consumers.
For this reason, the FoodTrack programme invites early-stage startups from all over the world with solutions to one of the world’s most acute challenges — eliminating food loss improving food supply chain.
Applications are open from September 3 to September 30 and the startups selected will be invited to join the full-time one-month programme in Copenhagen from November 14 to December 13.
They will have the opportunity to focus on building their investment case, while receiving intensive support from domain experts, serial entrepreneurs, and mentors from Maersk and Rockstart.
Following the programme, Maersk Growth can become their investor.
