Footprint Level develops services that visualize how companies' CO2 footprint relates to the 1.5 °
C target in the Paris Agreement. The services consist of a dynamic meter that shows from one
time to another the development of a company's CO2 footprint. This development will then be given a
rating from 0-100, where 100 indicates that the company's CO2 footprint is developing in line with
the 1,5°C target. The underlying data comes from an assessment or measurement that is made
on several occasions for each company, presenting a unique footprint value for each company.

The first service visualizes the CO2 footprint but we will develop more services/meters corresponding to the EU Taxonomy starting already this autumn....

Recommendations

I strongly recommend Footprint Level and think they are really spot on in how they approach this important aim and purpose. They bridge over the gap between wishes, aims and achievments, so each and everyone increases their knowledge and understanding - that it's doable.

Assessing companies' CO2 footprint are complex matters dealing with parameters that are many times rather opaque for a broader public. Communicating the results of such assessments, therefore, is a challenge. Most of the time such communication falls somewhere between the Scylla of too much detail and the Charybdis of dumbing down the results to something bordering on the nonsensical. Footprint Level AB has found a way to overcome this problematic dichotomy and manages to bundle together a trustworthy way of measuring emissions with a crystal clear means of communication.

I give my recommendation to this novel and truly important company. Changing peoples behavior toward the environmental-friendly is currently the missing piece in the transition towards Agenda 2030. Footprint Level AB aims to bridge this gap by offering its solutions.
