In 2014-2016, Fraud Dynamics (FD) was involved in a fraud detection improvement program at the Fraud Control department of equensWorldline (eWL), which I managed.FD improved the detection ratio while dramatically improving the false positive ratio.A cards issuing bank was assisted in improving its detection, which eWL carried out on their behalf.FD enabled eWL to choose between detection vs false positive ratio and therewith find a “sweet spot” to organize alert analysis and follow up, with high prediction accuracy.In the entire program,FD was very helpful with interpreting results to enable risk based decisions. It resulted in a smaller set of detection rules, with a much higher accuracy than before.
