AgSprint (arrowheadcenter.nmsu.edu/agsprint), Arrowhead’s venture builder for innovation in agriculture, hit another nation-wide milestone by becoming the first organization accorded the right to host the United States’ arm of the global Future Agro Challenge (FAC), an international innovation/entrepreneurial competition for the ag sector and for all businesses which touch on agriculture.

As national hosts, AgSprint will bring together the most innovative in the food and agriculture sectors to complete at a US-based FAC Battle. The selected winner will receive sponsored airfare and hotel accommodations to compete in the global competition hosted at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Istanbul, Turkey.

Future Agro Challenge (FAC) is a global platform bringing together in an effective partnership, all food and agribusiness stakeholders and players to create the acceleration process for agripreneurs and startups to fulfill their potential in finding solutions to local, regional and global challenges and to revolutionize the food value chain. As part, FAC holds the largest global competition that discovers innovative fundable food, agtech, and agriculture ventures from various corners of the globe. The most promising ideas and ventures are selected to compete in the Global Championships for the title of ‘Agribusiness of the Year’.
