In developed countries nutrition related diseases have increasingly become a major challenge for the national health systems. If we take Germany for instance, according to the ministry of nutrition and agro culture treating nutrition related chronic diseases is accounting for roughly a third of Germany’s health system’s total budget. This means that about 100 billion euros are yearly spend on treating diseases, which are directly related to poor nutrition.
Even more daunting is that 40 percent of all cancer can be traced back to unhealthy eating habits and that 68 percent of all deaths in industrialised countries result from nutrition related diseases.

In order to provide a preventive health solution Gaia Nutrition has successfully developed a unique technology creating highly individualised and 100 percent custom tailored meal plans and nutrition guidelines for each and everyone of our users.
Each user receives a meal plan consisting of delicious recipes with simple step-by-step instructions renewing weekly, a dynamic shopping list, flexible recipe alternatives, restaurant guidelines and a performance profile while being optimised towards the users nutritional needs, biometrics, eating preferences, allergies, activity level, health status, daily routine and many more possible inputs.
As being a technology company Gaia Nutrition has decided to license its Gaia Technology for creating individual meal plans in a SAAS model to established corporations. This way Gaia has already signed b2b partners like EatSmarter (largest community for healthy eating in Europe) or Lykon (blood test company) and many more in the sectors biotech, health & lifestyle, e-health and fitness. In order to allow our b2b partners to utilize our technology without having to program a single line of code Gaia Nutrition has developed a complete white label app solution.
