The company optimizes urban logistics through technology, making the process more efficient and sustainable; by using electric vehicles and employing workers with regular contracts it enables the digitization of logistics providing businesses a way to move merchandise around cities ethically, quickly, and efficiently while generating no emissions.
GoVolt differentiates itself within the competitive landscape by managing logistics for businesses currently unable to handle the process efficiently, offering a better service to the end customer on their behalf. GoVolt generates surplus by combining more services, leveraging economies of scale, effectively reducing the cost per task completed.
The business serves customers at a lower cost than the one they would sustain if operating the service directly, taking advantage of the market’s logistical asymmetry. GoVolt does not compete with large platforms as it has a very narrow focus on the B2B vertical, currently heavily underserved but highly capitalized.
The team proposes customized solutions by choosing within the product portfolio to satisfy the request received. In case of large clients demanding services worth exponentially more than the average sale, the demand is examined, and the team completes a full assessment to evaluate the possibility of creating a taylor-made offering.
The GoVolt Platform creates value by defining specific use cases, flows and transactions; digitalized/automated within its ecosystem.
Technology is at TRL7, supporting 3 different workflows, at various stages of maturity. The system is operational but needs further refinement to achieve full digitization. Management expects to begin testing and demonstration of features required to reach level 8 by 4Q2021.
The product roadmap features Digitalization, Automation, and Scale-up of the current last mile logistics experience by 1H21. Testing and demonstration of features required by the Concierge business model by 4Q21.
