Gorilla Conservation Coffee (GCCoffee) is a for profit social enterprise established by Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH), an award-winning NGO and non-profit. CTPH promotes gorilla and wildlife conservation by improving the health of wildlife and ecosystems as well as that of humans and their livestock in and around Africa’s protected area. Ultimately, Gorilla Conservation Coffee promotes biodiversity conservation by enabling coffee farmers bordering protected areas to have a viable alternative source of livelihood through coffee growing and access to premium markets. By providing this sustainable, alternative livelihood, Gorilla Conservation Coffee supports improvements for both humans and wildlife – and their habitats – and a donation from every coffee bag sold is reinvested into gorilla conservation.
