Yes, there is a considerable difference in the way two apps have been designed.

For one, Meedo is social from ground up. While Any.do just lets you share task ( and not without glitches), Meedo excels at following up once you have assigned or shared. It lets you inform the other person of your change in plans, date or anything else from within the app.

Also, Meedo is location aware i.e. can determine your location and remind you of task relevant to that location.
