I believe it's less a function of qty and more of quality. 1 or 2 person team with the right members is better than 3 people with less experience/enthusiasm.

I agree with you Vinit. but i also believe that if you are the single founder, it is very difficult then to manage all aspects of the startup.

At GSF, we give higher importance to the founders/team than the specific idea/product they are working on. During the early stage of a startup, ideas can change depending on the market feedback, however, the founders should have the right attitude towards building a long lasting business.

Virendra ... I'm lucky in the fact that my first company to be acquired had 3 founders (2 + me).

Currently I'm applying as a single founder and believe if you can do a good job of delegating over time, you can work it out. But yes, there are both extremes ... too many and too few.

Vinit.. Thats nice.. mY first startup (A media Company) got acquired to and it was same scenario (ME and + 2 founders).
