HiVE (Health Innovation in a Virtual Environment) is a virtual incubator and crowdsourcing platform that connects investors, donors, and volunteers to entrepreneurs and innovative health start ups in low- and middle-income countries. HiVE was developed by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and piloted in 2019-20 in Ghana. This pilot included researchers, clinicians and entrepreneurs and successfully built capacity in health innovation research.
