I was just saying the other day, it's amazing how many kids shows are, often unintentionally, laced with unhealthy emotional messages. I truly think the way forward is emotionally responsible programming. This idea is a great step forward to tackle the issues we teach our kids about differences etc. My bro has Downes syndrome and has therefore always looked 'different' and was bullied by children (not that he ever noticed thank goodness). Here's to emotionally healthy children with better self-esteem! x
