We are currently developing a range of new orthodontic aligners under the brand name In-Teeth, whose design differs radically from traditional clear aligners (Invisalign etc...).
The In-Teeth system uses the action of a 3D printed anatomical archwire that clips onto rigid brackets on the lingual side of the teeth. The entire system allows precise control of the movement of each tooth, unlike any other orthodontic system. The in-teeth technique is protected by an EP/JP/US patent under number WO2011036249A1.
The recent development of 3D printable and biocompatible resins now enables the production of such arches with the required material properties and printing accuracy.

We are currently working on the design of the system and have tested several prototypes. The first series of clinical cases is now starting.

Today we use a combination of existing software, which is not a sustainable solution for industrial manufacturing.
