Each insight is generated following 3 steps: (1) data capturing, (2) geo-referencing and (3) insight generation. We manage each step efficiently but in detail to ensure a quality product for our clients.

1. We collect our aerial data using multiple platforms to ensure large range of sensors, resolution and lead times. We select the most optimal data source, or a combination of several, based on our client’s problem.
1a. We source our drone data throughout our own drone operator network across Europe and the USA. The drone operator receives the operational parameters (e.g. area, flight height, overlap) for a specific flight request of our clients. Once the drone flight executed, he uploads the resulting raw data to the inFlights platform. At all stages the inFlights control tower team communicates with the clients, reschedules in case of bad meteo conditions, coordinates with the pilot and the authorities to ensure efficient and legal flying operations. The custom-build inFlights platform manages the above actions automatically and is one of the core assets of the company.
1b. inFlights sources satellite data manually and/or throughout API integrations with multiple vendors.
1c. inFlights uses plane data for large areas that need high precision data.
2. inFlights transforms the raw data generated into georeferenced 2D and 3D models using existing software licenses & algorithms. The inFlights platform integrates with existing software to reduce the manual work.
3. inFlights uses machine learning and/or existing software to transform the georeferenced data into actionable insights and visualizes them in the inFlights webplatform. Currently inFlights is selling the following end-products:
- Volumetric analysis of stocks to optimize the supply chain and reduce working capital
- Thermal analysis of buildings to spot insulations leaks of old buildings
- 3D models for use in rendering / measurements
- Fraud detection in solar panel installations
- Sales estimates of competing retail stores based on parking data
