Infrasolid has developed thermal infrared emitters that come close to the emission of a blackbody. Our emitters are characterized by patented nanotechnology in combination with the monolithic structure of the emitters. Here, a nanostructured absorption and emission layer is produced from metal nanostructures. The patented monolithic structure consists of an extremely thin radiator element, which is self-supporting. These two technologies generate a broadband and highly efficient emission of infrared radiation and create the possibility of miniaturization. By adapting the nanostructured surface, the emission spectrum can be influenced and adapted to specific applications. In this way, energy consumption can be reduced.
