The IoT Waste Challenge is organized by etventure and etventure Startup Hub, supported by the IoT European Platforms Initiative and sponsored by GreenCycle. The challenge aims to create a vibrant IoT ecosystem by engaging with young entrepreneurs, that develop new technologies with social impact.
For a chance to win 7000 Euros (or 3000 Euros for the second prize), create an IoT solution for a standard garbage bin, to track how much waste we generate.

Your solution should be:

Practical / Your solution must be easily applicable to every garbage bin.
Functional / Your solution should at least measure weight and volume!
Cost-efficient / You should aim for low costs.

If selected among the three finalists, you have to the process laid out in the specifications sheet to remain in the running for the prize.
