How to apply

iStart Thessaloniki Academy is looking for participants who are either University students or graduates. For applying, please make sure to answer the fields below, and make sure that you are answering in English. The application is split into 3 main sections: - Educational background - Motivation where you express yourself about the reasons pushing you to participate in the academy. - Business idea where you are asked to describe a business idea that you would like to develop during the academy OR if you do not currently have a business idea describe an entrepreneurial opportunity that interests you that relates to the theme of the academy (Urban Solutions).

Who can apply

To be eligible to apply to the academy, applicants must satisfy the following requirements: - to be at least 16 years old at the time of application. - Priority during the selection process will be given to applicants enrolled in a university in a EU country or EU associated country.

Selection process

Applications will be evaluated by an Admission Committee as better specified below based on the following criteria: - Motivation to join the Academy - Contributions to the Academy in terms of skills and personal qualities - Business potential of the business idea or business opportunity

Business Idea

Conditions for participation in accordance to Section 2 of the Terms of Use:

1- Only natural persons aged 16 or over who are legally competent are eligible to participate. 2- Multiple registrations by individual users or third-party use are prohibited. 3- A user applies to the academy by submitting individually the application form for the specific academy in accordance with the specifications mentioned for every field within the given deadline. Should a user want to join together with friends as a team, every team member has to apply separately. Every team member should then indicate the names of the other team members in a separate letter sent to the organizers. 4- All answers in the application form must be written in English. 5- The applicant accepts that all interactions with the other participants and the academy staff during the academy will be in English. 6- The applicant accepts that other participants can work on his/her business idea described in the application. 7- The applicant accepts that he or she may work during the academy on others’ business ideas than his or her own. 8- In case the team that the applicant will be working in gets selected as participant to the bootcamp, the applicant accepts that he or she will join.
