I went from zero to millions of readers for my entrepreneurship column in just 18 months. I started out by responding to a request for a "mompreneur" blogger for the Charlotte Observer. I then got my blog cross posted to the Business page online, then got a spot in the print edition, then got picked up for national syndication by Tribune Content Agency to properties like the Sacramento Bee and Chicago Tribune. By the time I resigned my column to focus on Shopping Quizzes, I had been carried in 25 daily newspapers in 15 states, and met 200 weekly deadlines in a row.
