We Develop a Smart Meter for electricity and Water, connected to the internet and able to be the smart city cell. The project aims to help people to preserve the water and energy resources, find the point where a leak is or other loss of the resource. Also, it helps people to save water and energy.
Our Intelligent measurement uses computational methods to detect the critical points of the process in which there is loss or leak of the resource throughout the service use cycle, which allows intervening the system to correct faults in time avoiding waste.
In Latin America there is no culture of efficient use of water and energy resources, due to the abundant availability of these in some regions, this resource waist translates into problems of pollution, deterioration of strategic ecosystems, and limitations of the resource for vulnerable communities, these can be mitigated through the implementation of our system.
We are funding the research by ourselves, now we are in the mass production stage and we need funding as this are more expensive.
Our device is a fully operational environment tested prototype, ready for mass manufacturing.
The project is mainly funding by Integrasoft sas, a Colombian company that produces software for government entities, city councils etc. and invest the profits in the research and development of the Smart Meter, (Smart meter that forms a Smart city, as it works as a smart city cell). more
