KONETA is a non-for profit making organization, non-political formed in 2019 under the Non-Government Organization Act and registered with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) of South Sudan with REG No. 2978. KONETA was founded with the aim of responding to the increasing poor health, poor hygiene and sanitation, unsafe water and Education challenges affecting many grassroots population of south Sudan. KONETA is dedicated to supporting vulnerable community (women, youth, and children being the immediate victims of any natural or man-made shock). We aim at achieving efficient, effective and sustainable service provision, and to enable women and girls have a healthy community at all levels. Seeks to impact the lives of people in South Sudan.
We are a one-stop capacity building and management community based organization with project implementation and management in South Sudan.
We engage in diverse sectors, including health, education, Food security, protection and WASH with an understanding on context of implementation as well organizational day to day requirements.

KONETA envisions to pilot in building a healthy, Violence free and productive society, where everyone lives in freedom and appreciate the vast prospective of diversity “to realize a healthy changed community that will culminate into long term development of South Sudan”

• Community First: KONETA strongly believes that meaningful, beneficial and lasting results and solutions can only be achieved with all stakeholders on board. Most importantly the affected and targeted communities/population has to be engaged from start to the end, and so are the other stakeholders.
• Guiding principles and issues that cut across: KONETA is guided by the principles of non-discrimination and result oriented management and accountability. Likewise matters of gender, natural resource management, cultural and traditional considerations as well as the people’s way of life is considered to be quite crucial in all we do. Through working in partnership with sponsors, donors, NGOs, Government, community leadership forums and with beneficiaries, KONETA hopes to reduce health risks and vulnerability of most vulnerable populations in South Sudan. KONETA works in collaboration with government, international and national organizations to develop the community areas into a healthy, convenient, befitting and productive place to live. more
