What parkingstram can do in this application is work for the lighting challenge and furthermore offer you additional smart city services that can run through the same infrastructure.

parkingstream is working in the field of smart cities using computer vision for measuring the vehicle flow. In the city center, by installing video cameras at the corners of a street and by monitoring the incoming vehicle traffic we can provide various services to a city:
1)city lighting services: controlling street light depending on the car flow. When a car enters a street in the night and gets detected, the street light at the corner on the next street could change color and intensity in order to notify pedestrians.
2) traffic lights tuning: possibility to use real time traffic data for tuning traffic lights in order to reduce the traffic (green wave)
3) smart parking services: measuring the number of vehicles in a street (outgoing minus incoming traffic) can give to the city and the drivers an indication on the parking spot availability. Smart parking services can significantly reduce traffic in the city center and decrease accidents.
4)unauthorized vehicle detection (eg. notification of truck detection in the city center outside delivery schedule) more
