In today’s economy, various platforms provide infrastructures for digitization activities to improve cross-company collaboration. These infrastructures require the collection of data about the ins and outs of such collaboration processes, often by one of the collaborators or even an external third party. The lack of individualization of processes and missing trust in view of data security results in objections against such services. In addition, there is no paradigm on how to create trustful, individual, cheap and scalable digital processes for exchange of process relevant data in value creation networks. This makes it impossible to resolve the high inefficiencies in daily cross-business collaborations.
This is where our mindset comes into play: Our goal is to achieve individual cross-company processes, digitizable with our software solutions without having to give away internal data to external service providers. Process owners should be able to invite partners to a digital collabor...
Process owners should be able to invite partners to a digital collaboration and date-exchange based on their business-temples created.
We want to make it possible to create process templates for blockchain-based cross-company collaboration and data-interchange. Currently, this is usually solved by paper protocols which get exchanged between two partners. The data then has to be entered manually into each partner’s system, which adds to process costs and is very error prone. The data of the value creation process as a whole is never completely transparently consolidated at one single point, which makes it hard to prove to an auditor later on.
Our blockchain solutions are capable to collect process relevant data through value chains from different parties and to save them immutably in a data-container on the Blockchain, thus, making them accessible only to the correct partners connected to this process. The template definition comes automatically with an API-description, making it possible to not only fill in the data via a user-interface, but also from third-party systems, like ERPs and databases, which is another enormous increase in efficiency. Moreover, this breaks up data- and information-silos, where data is normally stored inside companies, and makes the whole process more consistent. We provide our appHero framework for this purpose – see below. Collected data is written to the Blockchain, removing the need for middlemen like platforms and making it secure by the Blockchain-design and -operation.
