We formulate natural juice products from locally grown fruits in Uganda. Fruit synergy and vacuum technology is a new innovation in the fruit processing industry which improves shelf-life and the nutrition value of the final product. The technology promotes value addition of fruits, by producing 100% natural fruit juice products. With a minimum shelf-life of one year, the juice manufacturers get an opportunity to maximize production in peak seasons while availing natural juice products throughout the year. The technology reduces fruit wastage to 0%. The juice products can then be distributed among resource limited communities at leisure, a strategy which significantly contributes to zero hunger by 2030....
