Kenty is developing tech enabled streetwear for mental health sufferers, school aged child to adult, find their inner superhuman strength after suffering from depression and negative experiences. We all know that Clark Kent wore the 'S' on his chest and became Superman whenever the situation called for it. Kenty seeks to do the same for the 1 in 5 Canadians experiencing mental illness, namely the 70% of these who have their onset during childhood adolescence. The numbers increase by up to 20% in the black community. Kenty will be streetwear that has hidden messages embedded within the fabric that will only be detectable through an app. The technology will also have the ability to alert friends, family and medical professionals if the wearer remains in that mood longer than usual and if that person has a history of thoughts of suicide. We want to help them get happy and stay happy....
