As of March 2020, KinoTek has a completed prototype. The company has completed extensive alpha testing and received strong qualitative feedback to guide beta testing beginning June 1st, 2020. The prototype effectively communicates KinoTek’s core competencies and, as a result, has helped generate pre-seed funding, letters of intent and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) from academic institutions and high-performance training facilities. The prototype and alpha product include the following:

1. Real-time, full-body motion capture with inertial measurement unit (IMU) based suit and infrared motion capture cameras.
2. Quantitative measurements of key joints for both dynamic and stationary movements.
3. Interface for establishing and tracking movements by monitoring the range of motion in joints, acceleration/deceleration, body asymmetries, and joint angles. This information is gathered in real-time and used to provide an individualized injury risk assessment.
4. Interface for managing user registration, athlete/coach profiles and storing user data.
