DOCUMENTA SL is a innovative Spanish SME focused on ICT and Education. We develop ICT solutions that can help citizens, organizations and enterprises to be more competitive using their creativity and cultural background.
We dedicate an important part of our effort to R&D. We use a bottom-Up approach, involving users at all levels. In our headquarters in Barcelona we frequently organize seminars with teachers, students, artists, creating a dialogical process for needs analysis and product improvements.
DOCUMENTA is a founder member and member of the management board of EDUTECH Cluster edutech.cat/ a Catalan Association of Enterprises for the promotion of e-learning and ICT in education in Catalonia. Between many other things, the Edutech Cluster is the organizer of ITworldEdu, www.itworldedu.cat/, one of the most important events in education in Spain.

After succeeding in the market with our online authoring tool MyDocumenta, reaching more than 70.000 users across Spain and Switzerland (2011-2014), we are evolving our focus, thanks also to the FI-Adopt program, toward the development and commercialization of the 1st e-portfolio ecosystem (www.mydocumenta.com) focused on boosting the acquisition, evaluation and certification of digital skills, essential for educational, personal and professional purposes. It addresses: schools, teachers, students.
We propose a Freemium model, with a free version of the e/m-portfolio, and a series of Paying products that can be purchased separately.
We are participating in the FiAdopt program (3rd call) as beneficiaries, with the BRAIM Project.
The BRAIM Goal is to speed up the development and testing of a version ready for a pilot phase of an e-learning platform composed by 4 modules: e-portfolio, creative, analytics and certify, marketplace. Main results up to date:
-Coaching services for enhancing growing and internationalization.
-Nov. 1st, 2015- launch of the V1.0 of BRAIM, (eportfolio + creative)
-Nov. 2nd, 2015- start the pilot with real users: • 12 schools • 2 universities: U. of Barcelona and U. Ramon Llull • The Government of Andorra (secondary schools).
-The V.2.0 of BRAIM will be launched on January and presented at the BettShow 2016.
From a commercial point of view, the results got up to date have allowed us to detect and confirm the potential global business opportunity and added value for our users if we provide the e-Portfolio through a mobile interface with some added functionalities.
