Through his interactions our algorithms learn about behavior - what type of questions go wrong together? Which videos/notes improve learning outcomes the most? Which teacher is good for which topic? If he is weak in one topic, is that causing mistakes elsewhere? Once we learn this, then such data can be used to improve teaching process, set courses...

All knowledge is one. We see that all knowledge is interconnected. Concepts from physics come in handy in chemistry, maths enables physics' understanding and so on...
So, we see learning as a process of adding nodes to a network, not as a checklist of topics to be introduced. We focus on uncovering knowledge rather than just covering syllabus.
We use crawlers/ API's to get the best learning material to the site and then use expert curation to vet it and give it context. Our UpStudy and Cross-study algorithms help discover advanced concepts or related concepts from other topics.
Users can also contribute their own tips, tricks and solutions making it the right tool to share knowledge.
With our model, our feed changes as per user's life stage, so we stay relevant by giving college suggestions after exam ends, notes when studying for semesters etc. And when he wants to take the next exam like GRE/GMAT/CAT, we are ready to cater to him.

With this combination of Good UI - Data science - learning models we intend to make an engaging lifelong learning platform.
