Kuendo

Kuendo allows apartment residents to 1) connect with their neighbours in public and anonymous chat rooms, 2) organise events, 3) book building amenities, 4) receive offers from local businesses and 5) communicate with their block management company via multimedia chat (enhanced with chat bots).

The business model is to extract revenue from items 2), 3), 4) and 5). In priority order:

5) Block management companies (BMCs): For offering the Kuendo app to residents, BMCs pay a monthly subscription fee for every apartment unit (regardless of family size). Benefits are a) reduced operational costs via efficient in-app communication with residents, especially enhanced with chat bots, b) increased resident satisfaction and c) reduced attrition costs.

3): Apartment block facilities: BMCs earn additional revenue by allowing residents to conveniently book building amenities (e.g. concierge, private pool booking), further justifying the monthly subscription fee.

4) Local business offers: Restaurants, retailers and services companies advertise time-bound special offers for local residents only, Kuendo receives a commission.

2) Events: When residents organise events via Kuendo, local businesses (e.g Uber sharing, catering) are listed as service providers for a commission.

Kuendo will always be free for apartment residents who increase the network value.
