The other potential niche for Language Hunt is that we believe Language Hunt will help people who want to learn a new language by introducing (e.g.) an Italian who is struggling to learn English with another Italian who is already fluent, and by doing so improving the speed and diminish the frustration of the learner.

The business model we are trying out is for learners to pay for the time of guides, but we found out that obviously it’s easy to find willing guides (who get paid) but it’s not as easy to find willing learners that realize the potential of a one-to-one in-person meeting vs many free competing offers.
