SWOT is an educational resource for all academic verticals for LawSwot, TechSwot as examples. We are building a community base of students enabling employers to educate their future talent and candidates by contributing and engaging on the platform utilizing our software profile builder plugin. Our pilot site LawSwot.com went live October 2014. we currently have 550 Swots registered and actively using the platform. We are present in 13 third level education institutes including Oxford and Trinity College, Dublin. We have 19 employers with profiles created and advertising careers.

Our r&d technology is based upon targeting employers for a subscription based revenue stream. In summary the employer will access the Swot profile builder and create an extra-net/showcase for their business. We will be using data mining and analytic technology(big data) to allow them use an inbound marketing solution to target our user community enabling matchmaking. The objective being to optimize the employers profile and match the student with the company's culture. Hence reducing the risk of churn and costs of recruitment fees.
Our market research has indicated that 90% of the student population believe LinkedIn to be too serious whilst still an undergraduate. Swot will provide an incentive for students to contribute on the platform by facilitating access to top employers. We aim to build a strong community user base who trust Swot as the 'go to place' for academic assistance and guidance. Also the Employers/recruiters will view Swot as a resource pool for top talent and ultimately use it as a talent tracker.
Students will be able to access employer led on-line courses on commercial awareness and negotiation skills. They will also have access to leadership, communication and team player skills. These are all vitally important skills for a successful transition from third level education to industry.
Employer have the ability to access students from an early stage in essence a elongated interview process with an evolving resume throughout the students studies.
Swot measures the students acumen and ability to apply their studies to actual problem solving and collegiate way of working by rewarding ability through 'swotness' (a reputation based system)
