I am an artist who has spent the last 5 months researching and writing a project proposal. In the project proposal it details a sort of equation that in theory should work to boost up Calgary artistry to new heights never soon before, the architecture in the city is beautiful but many outlets around the world (and even local) have written countless articles about the terrible overpriced artwork that has been commisioned by the city, most of the city including myself believe this to be an embarrasement and yet we keep getting outside artists to bring appeal to our local artistry scene. Life to the city is a project that will need local endorsements to provide the resourse necessary to begin music video production and hire outside east coast canadian artists to come to our city to do feautures with myself and other artists that support this plan.
