Locus Robotics

Locus Robotics is a collaborative robotic solution designed to increase productivity in the warehouse.

Built by warehouse people, for warehouse people, Locus is purpose built to achieve your desired picking throughput, usually with half your current labor requirements.

Locus 1. reduces the unproductive walk-time of your associates, and 2. reduces the amount of time it takes to make a pick.

You make an order pool available to Locus of everything you need to be picked. Locus will optimize that order pool in several ways to drive operations productivity:

1. We will always honor your priority groups
2. Within those priority groups, we will associate the best orders or picks together on the same robot.
3. The robot travels the entirety of the pick path for the orders on-board.
4. Associates are guided with a directed work function to support the nearest robot to them
5. We know where associates are because they wear Low-Frequency Bluetooth badges. This is how we associate a picker with a pick.
6. This also allows us to swarm work to where pickers are.

The result is at least 2X increase in productivity from your associates, compared to traditional picking methods.

Locus has a very low CapEx barrier to entry. Our model is Robots as a Service (RaaS). You pay a monthly subscription for access to robots, a full solution, support, maintenance, etc.

Locus is extremely flexible and scale-able. You can add robots to your fleet to accommodate peak volumes.

You do not have to spend large CapEx dollars on traditional automation that requires a design point for your highest volume days, only to not run at that capacity 90% of the year.

Locus can be deployed in weeks, not months. We require almost no infrastructure changes, and can be implemented in existing operations.
