Along with herbicides, farmers use the unreliable and time-consuming manual labor since they can only spray herbicides when the crops are still very young.
As if this were not enough, most weed species are developing a resistance to herbicides, so this immunity is decreasing the effectiveness of such a long-standing solution in the market.
So, farmers suffer from yield losses and a decreased crop quality.

Currently, we are in the MVP building phase. Unlike other methods, it prevents the weed from regrowing since the laser hits it at its growth center.

For now, we will provide onion farmers with a weeding service and charge them per dunum to be covered in the season. The payment will be settled at the beginning of each weeding session, and this payment process resembles the way onion farmers are currently paying manual laborers’ employers. Some large-scale farmers are even interested in buying the robot itself. At later stages, the farmers will be able to buy the machine and get rid of their seasonal costs and only pay us for the maintenance of their robots.



The robot has unique artificial intelligence algorithms embedded in it. Unlike other methods which need to be combined together to kill weeds, the laser-weeding robot replaces all of them in order to grant the farmer a hassle-free solution to a historically chronic problem in agriculture.

Several features found in our product are potentially patentable according to Alyafi IP, a Lebanese firm that conducted a prior art search for our company.

Developing such a reliable robot requires technical sophistication, and all of the cofounders, with their technical background, have the ability to supervise and manage all the aspects of product development. We use Trello Product Management to oversee the MVP building phase, and up until now, we have six letters of intent from farmers who are willing to buy the service or the machine.
