M-Sec is a EU-Japan collaboration which stands for “Multi-layered Security technologies to ensure hyper connected smart cities with Blockchain, Big Data, Cloud and IoT”.
The project is developing a multi-layer secure IoT framework that is compatible with the transfer and processing of personal data between the EU and Japan.
M-Sec framework provides the technological foundation to comply with GDPR, APPI, the Adequacy Agreement between the EU and Japan, and will be validated through its two cross border use cases.
