We have developed our product range along two distinct lines. For developing markets where the average farm size is only 1ha and spraying is mostly conducted using simple knapsack sprayers we have developed a turnkey range of backpack sprayers. These backpack sprayers enable smallholder farmers to reduce the water & chemical application rates by 80% when compared to conventional spraying methods.

For developed markets where growers use specialised spraying equipment such as field boom sprayers and air blast sprayers, our product is sold in the form of a retrofit kit that can be easily installed onto all manufacturer sprayer types.

We also plan to develop a range of retrofit kits for use in irrigation equipment including Drip, Sprinkler and Centre Pivot systems.

This is not only a letter of recommendation for MagGrow but also a testimonial on the excellent performance of the MagGrow magnetic sprayer.
Last year the Ethiopian Transformation Agency (ATA) signed a MOU with MagGrow represented by Mr. David Moore; for the introduction and testing by smallholder farmers in Ethiopia of the magnetic sprayer on cereal crops. A total of 46 extension field staff and 111 farmers received training on the operation of the sprayer and more than 50 farmer's wheat plots were sprayed with herbicide. Weed control was far better than using the traditional backpack sprayer. Farmers complained only on the heavy weight of the sprayer, but otherwise were extremely pleased with the performance on crop coverage and control. With the new development on installing lithium batteries and reduction of weight, MagGrow is a sure winner in Ethiopia.
