Our main applications:

2. Power magnetics: flowable magnetic material can adopt any shape and size and be used to make inductive components by filling a cavity with a wound coil. However, it is necessary to use a precise and sophisticated magnetic design algorithm. This software developed by us called MAGMATH will be available as online software 01/18 allowing power electronic engineers to tailor inductive components to their needs. Once the customer has finalized the costed design, samples can be ordered and delivered within days to dramatically streamline the magnetics design-in process.

3. Induction cooking: similar to wireless power transmission, the magnetizable concrete can be used to replace ferrite tiles conventionally used to improve the magnetic field distribution. Besides cost advantages to make induction cooking competitive, the shaping freedom improves further the efficiency.
4. Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) by screening or absorption of radiation, depending on the frequency range. Especially for HVDC power distribution of renewable energies such as wind. Our materials offer the possibility to mitigate radiation from switching conversion facilities.
