Amazing things Mait's made
Mait Müntel is a nuclear physicist and an entrepreneur. He received his PhD in Theoretical Physics in 2008 from the University of Tartu in Estonia. During his studies he worked as a teacher, teaching physics to secondary school students. Mait worked at CERN within the CMS experiment for 9 years and was part of the Higgs boson discovery team at CERN, Switzerland, in 2012. After the discovery, Mait got the idea to use the same algorithms from particle physics to make human learning 10 times more efficient. He co-founded Lingvist, which has since grown from a great idea into an amazing team of over 30 people, including both the technical co-founder and core technology team leader of Skype. Mait is an avid traveler. He has hiked across Siberia in summer and in winter, climbed the highest active volcano in Kamchatka and reached the peak of Mont Blanc 10 times during his adventures. He has also co-founded a company to build the first 4th generation nuclear power plant in Europe in 2030.
