When I was 22, I discovered my passion for teaching. I believe a STEAM approach can engage children more and change education as we know it.

Amazing things Maria's made
In the last year, I’ve been working with my team in creating value and bring change in education, through a STEAM oriented approach, an interactive and hands-on experience with every lesson. Our lessons are planned in a curriculum: from learning objectives to materials needed, details, prototype’s pictures/videos. We’ve been through a massive research to identify children’s needs (what should a 5/10/12 y.o. kid learn? What are the abilities they need to develop? What tools are right for each age?), the resources to achieve them, activities addressing those needs, prototyping, testing, improving and documenting these activities.

During this process, I started to inspire people and young girls to attend STEAM classes. Therefore, I was invited as a speaker at TEDx Bucharest, Schools of The Future event organized by The Embassy of Sweden, Technology in children’s life event, The City Talks show from the National radio, and got awarded for Innovation in Education.
