• Grew monthly website traffic to over 400,000 unique visitors & over 2 million page views with $0 marketing budget.
• Directed and negotiated a content license agreement and managed the publication of Centerstage’s content into a 20-page weekly newspaper section for the Chicago Sun-Times.
• Pioneered evolutionary online revenue models such as premium listings, dynamic mapping placements, contextual ad targeting, and advertorial/native advertising. Developed revenue partners and relationships for eCommerce.
• Managed a full-time sales person, several part-time editors, and over 15 regular freelance contributors in a “virtual office” environment. Raised brand awareness with online/offline promotions and marketing efforts and negotiated partnerships with established local media.
