Mdguna is a new platform that helps healthcare consumers to find and schedule an appointment online with best healthcare providers for their need by comparing healthcare procedure quality and cost in their area. With just three clicks, consumers can find Hospital, physician office, nursing home and home care cost for a specific procedure and quality of the care.

Traditional healthcare review platforms offer average patient ratings for healthcare providers which do not represent true quality metric for each procedure that provider has performed. mdYtals uses CMS de-identified healthcare claims data to calculate relevant metrics(readmission rate, infection rate, complication rate, time & effective care...) for each procedure and provider combination.

MDguna founded on an idea to promote transparency in health care quality and pricing. MDguna believes transparency drives up the quality and drives down the cost. In ideal case, patients would get best quality at least possible cost, providers get paid based on quality rather than quantity, payers would benefit from above two scenarios.
